Convergent Communications is a family owned and operated business.
David Jensen owned and operated the Winter Haven Home Instead Senior Care franchise with his wife, Kathi, and help from their three children, for nearly five years.
During his time running the business, David noticed that that the existing VoIP system that that came with the business was nothing more than a traditional phone system that ran over the Internet. It was mostly devoid of all the potential that VoIP has to offer beyond a traditional system. David thought he could he could do better.
With help from other very smart people, that is exactly what he did, and the office efficiency as well as goodwill with both clients and caregivers increased significantly. While it is not fair to give all the credit to the phone system, the office nonetheless grew from one of the lowest performing offices in Florida to number three on the month it was sold.
David and his son Matthew went to work on expanding the features and functionality of the system to help other Home Instead offices have access to the same benefits that they had worked hard to create. Their product and service have been well received in other Home Instead Senior Care offices. They've gone from making a difference in the lives of seniors to making a difference in the lives of those that make a difference in the lives of seniors. It all feels good.
